Eve Simpson

A singer/songwriter who also writes and records music for theatre and film. Currently studying Politics at The University of Edinburgh, Eve is a a singer/songwriter who also writes and records music for theatre and film. She is passionate about community-based art and learning how to tell stories through representative art forms. Self-releasing an EP and two singles, Eve has played festival slots and sessions for BBC Introducing, as well as receiving airplay from Tom Robinson on BBC6 Music. Through her co-writing, Eve has appeared on releases from North-East based artists, as well as composing for the award-winning ‘A Kind of Seeing’ film by Shona Thomson, which received a FOCAL International Film Award. Eve is thrilled to be back at Bobiks, this time headlining alongside her good friends Eryn Rae and Scott Turnbull, with a whole set of new, unheard music and plenty new anecdotes
